Southwark Informations of Witnesses taken
at the parish of Saint John within the
Borough of Southwark in the County of
Surrey on the Eleventh day of April 1791
on view of the Body of Ann Norman< no role >
now here lying dead

Elizabeth< no role > the Wife of Cornelius Carey< no role > ofa
Lodge at Mr. Fletchers a Locksmith in Fair Green
in the parish of Saint John within the Borough of
Southwark maketh Oath that about half an hour past
Eleven in the forenoon of Saturday last the 9th. instant
on Dept. going to her Window in a front Room in said
Mr. Fletchers house the [..] saw a Dray drawn by
two or three horses passing along said three towards
London Bridge that the horses were going along very
slowly and the Driver on [..] the near side of
the shaft horse - that the decded a [..] little Girl about
two Years & a half old being near the Kennel in
the middle of the Street on the Off side of the Dray
[..] endeavouring to Drop the Street the Off Wheel
of the Dray went ever one of its Feet that the Child
immediately fell down under the off Wheel and the
Wheel passed ever the head of the deced - that Dept.
being very much frightened saw no more at that time
that in about an hour afterwards [..] Dept. went
to the house of Mr. Samuell Grand father to the
deced and there saw the Child lying Dead
Dept. don't think that at the time the Child was
near the Kennel and the Wheel went ever it the
Driver of the Dray saw the Child or know any
king of the matter still afterwards.
