Southwark

Depositions of Witnesses taken at the
Parish of Saint John within the Borough of
Southwark in the County of Surrey the 22nd.
day of December 1790 on view of the body of
a Man unknown now here lying dead

William Bilson< no role > of No. 3 Boss Alley Horsley down in the Parish of Saint
John within the Borough of Southwark in the County of Surrey
Waterman maketh Oath that about ½ part 5 OClock Yesterday
Morning being in his Boat for the purpose of crossing the River
from Lady Parsons'sGeorgesStairs Wapping to [..] Georges Stairs
in the Parish of Saint John aforesaid near George Stairs aforesaid
finding the Boat row heavy, he put his hand over the Boat
into he Water and fell the body of the deceased that he conveyed
the body on Shire that he left the body at Georges Stairs afore-
said and gave notice to Mr. Burgess Beadle of said parish
of Saint Johns that the Body appeared as if it had been some
time in the Water
