London Depositions of Witnesses taken at
London, that is to say, at the Parish of
Saint Dunstan in the East in the Ward of
Tower in London aforesaid the 10th: day of
December 1789 on view of the Body of
Francis Creecroft< no role > then and there lying
Dead

John Bolter< no role > an Apprentice to Mrs: Dugard of Nine Yard
Waterman maketh Oath that about the hour of Sen in the
Morning of Tuesday last the 8th instt Dept: being at the Temple
Stairs situate in the Parish of Saint Dunstan aforesaid where
his Business lays one William Rogers< no role > who was standing by Dept.
sayed there is a Drowned Man laying in the causeway of
said Stairs that Rogers and Dept. went down the came way
and found the deced lying with his face down wards quite
wet the Tide having just left him that Rogers examined
deced pockets but found nothing but bits of paper in them
that the deced was a Ticket Porter and used to Work on the
Quays that he has heard the deced called by the Name of
Francis Creecroft< no role > which he used to answer to-that he has
seen the deced working on the Quays there two Years past
that the deced was conveyed in a Shall to [..]
