and to the Chruch-wardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of Saint Dionis Backchurch
in the City of London

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto us, two of
his Majesty's Justice of the Peace , in and for the
County of MIDDLESEX , (one where of being of the Quorum)
by the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of ST. LUKE, in the said County, That Catherine Owen< no role >
(Singlewoman )
hath
lately come into the said Parish, of saint Luks endeavouring to settle there,
contrary to Law. And it appeareth unto us the said Justice,
and we do adjudge that she is likely tobecome charge-
able to the said Parish; and upon Examination of the said
Catherine Owen< no role > taken upon Oath,
it further appeareth unto us, and we do likewise adjudge, that
the Parish of Saint Dionis Back Church in the
is the Place of the last legal Settlement of the said
Catherine Owen< no role >

These are therefore in His Majesty's Name to Charge and
Command you the Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of ST. LUKE , forthwith to remove and convey
the said Catherine Owen< no role >
from the said Parish of ST. LUKE , to the said Parish of
Saint Dionis Back Church and deliver her to the
Church-wardens and Overseers of the Poor there, or to some
or one of them, who are hereby required to provide for her
according to Law. GIVEN under our Hands and Seals, the
Eighteenth Day of December [..] 1793
