Parish of Saint Dionis backchurch
in the City of London , Single Woman , in her
voluntary Examination taken this Day in Writing, and upon
Oath, before me (one of his Majesty's Justices of the
Peace, in and for the said City and Liberties) hath
declared that she is now with Child, which Child
is likely to be born a Bastard, and to become charge-
able to the said Parish of Saint Dionis
backchurch and that
Robert Smith< no role > late of Lime Street London
yeoman
is the Father of the said Bastrad Child: And whereas
John Layton< no role > , Overseer of
the Poor of the Said Parish of Saint Dionis
hath made Application unto me for the immediate
Apprehending the said Robert Smith< no role >
to Answer to the Premises:

THESE are therefore in his Majesty's Name, to
autherize and require you, and every of you, to
apprehend the said Robert Smith< no role >
and to bring him before me, or some other of his Majesty's
Justices of the Peace , for this City and Liberties, that
he be proceeded against as the Law directs. Give
