Whereas Sarah Geary< no role > Wife of Robert Geary< no role > with her two Children
vizt.Richard < no role > aged about three years and Sarah < no role > aged
or bent two years by Virtue of a Warrent under the Hands
and Seales of Two of His Majty's Justices of the Peace within
this City of London (Quor unns) bearing Date the Twelfth
Day of October last past were Sent and delivered by the
Church wardens [..] and Overseers of the Poor of the Parish
of St. Divins Backchurch London unto the Churchwardens end
Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St. Mary Athill London
upon the Oath of Joseph Hankey< no role > That the said Robert Geary< no role >
lived for above the Space of twelve Months whilst a Single
Person as a Covenant yearly Servant in the Parish of St.
Mary At hill London and no other Subsequent Settlement
then appearing to the Said Justices Now upon Hearing the
Appeale of the Churchwardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of St. Mary Athill London against the said
Warrant and Judgment of the said Two Justices in the presence
of the Church wardens & Overseers of the Poor of the Parish of St.
Dionis Backchurch And having heard what could be alledged
on either Side by the respective Churchwardens & [..]
their Council and Witnesses in & concerning the Prmisses It is
thereupon considered and Ordered by this Court That the said
Warrant & Judgment of the said Two Justices be Quashed and
that the said Sarah Geary< no role > with Richard and Sarah her two
Children be Sent back & delivered to the Churchwardens and
Overseers of the Poor of the Said Parish of St. Dionis Backchurch
London there to be by them Provided for & maintained untill
they can free themselves from the Charge thereof by due Course
of Law And it is further Ordered that the Said Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of the Said Parish of St. Dionis Backchurch
do forth with pay unto the Said Churchwardens and Overseers of
the Poor of the Said Parish of St. Mary Athill all such Sume
and Sumes of Money as they the Said Churchwardens & Overseers
of the Poor of the Parish of St. Mary Athill have laid out and
