Present that this Meeting was summoned for the-
Nomination and Return of Ward Officers for the Year
ensuing.

Constables
Inquest men

Mr. Thomas Hunter< no role > was the first upon the List for
Constable and Inquest man, but was Pass'd over, having
already served those Offices in the Precinct of Allhallows
Lombard Street

Mr. Timothy Brown< no role > the next in rotation for the said
Offices, alledged that he did not consider himself any
longer an Inhabitant of these Precincts, having Set his
House to Mr. Baxter, and that he should quit it in a few
days- Mr. Brown was therefore Pass'd over

Mr. William Dyer< no role > and Mr. Joseph Buckland< no role > were then
severally put up and ordered to be returned to the Ward-
mote for Constables and Inquest Men for the year
ensuing

Common
Council-men

Mr. Peter Pope< no role > , Mr. Edward Tutet, Mr. Thos. Hudson< no role > ,
and Mr. J. Wm. Galabin were severally put in Nomination
and ordered to be returned for Common Council Men
for the year ensuing.

Collectors of
Consolidated Rates

Mr. Church Warden Tutet took notice that a Proposal wod.
be made on St. Thoma's day to choose two Collectors of the
Consolidated Rates, one for the Eastern, and the other for
the Western division of the Ward, to be paid by the Ward and
to give Security; which he thought necessary to lay before this
meeting that Gentlemen might have time to consider of it
Previous to the Wardmole.

Mr. Benjn. Smith< no role > and Mr. Matthew Gibbs< no role > were then put in
nomination for Collectors of the Consolidated Rates for the
North Precinct and Mr. John Willm< no role > . Galabin and Mr.-
Robert Morris< no role > for the South Precinct.
