Alderman Abdy's
Gift

At this Meeting two Petitions
were presented for Alderman Abdy's Gift of Five Pounds
to wit from Edward Crouch< no role > and Ann King< no role > but the
said Ann King< no role > having received the said Gift on Saint
Thomas day< no role > 1769 her Petition was not admissible, the
Doner having Limited this Benefaction from being given
to the same Person above once in Five Years. The Five
Pounds was therefore unanimously ordered to be given
to Edward Crouch< no role > a Poor Householder of this Parish.

Sacrament Money

Gratuity for Pew

The Residue of Mr. Alderman Abdy's Gift being Fifty
shillings together with Fifty shillings Sacrament Money
and one Guinea part of the sum of Two Guineas paid as
a Gratuity for a Pew by Mr. Thomas Palmer< no role > making
together Six Pounds one shilling was distributed as follows
