Pounds, and the Question being putt it past in the
Affirmative.

Ordered that Mr. Richard Griffin< no role > be Exempted from
serving the Officers of Constable Scavenger & Inquestman
paying the usual Fine of Twelve pounds.

Mr. Thos: Bainham< no role > Mr Thos:
Reynolds
< no role > & Mr. Francis Wood< no role >
Excused serving Constable Etc.
for one year

Then Mr. Thomas Bainham< no role > Mr. Thomas Reynolds< no role >
and Mr. Francis Wood< no role > were severally putt in
Nomination to Serve the Offices of Constable Scavenger
and Inquestman for the Year ensuing and Excused
for one Year

Mr. Antho. Chapman< no role >
chose Constable Scavenger
& Inquestman

Then Mr: Anthony Chapman< no role > was put in Nomination
to serve the Offices of Constable Scavenger & Inquestman
for the Year ensuing in the Room of Mr. Griffin and< no role >
chose.

Mr. Thos: Coppin chose
Constable Etc.

And Mr. Thomas Coppin< no role > was also put in Nomination
to serve the said Offices for the Year ensuing & Chose.

Mr. Michl. Aylett chose
2d. Years Inquestman

Then Mr. Michael Aylett< no role > & Mr. Richard West< no role > Hosier
were severally putt in Nomination to Serve the Office of
Second Years Inquestman & Mr: Aylett was chose

A Motion made to raise
the Fine of Ward Offices.

Then Mr. Churchwarden Littlebury moved that the
Fine paid for being Exempted from Serving the said
Ward Offices should be raised for the future & being
seconded the Question was putt whether the Fine for
Ward Offices should be raised or not, which was
carryed in the Affirmative.

Raised from £12: to £16

Ordered That the Fine for being Exempted from Serving
of Ward Offices shall for the future be raised.

A Motion being made And the Question putt whether
such Fine should be raised from Twelve Pounds to Sixteen
Pounds or to Fifteen Pounds only. It was carryed by a
Majority that the Fine should be raised to Sixteen Pounds
which was ordered accordingly.

Oyles & Mr. James Hebert< no role >
returned for Common Councel
Men.

Afterwards James Creed< no role > Esqr: Mr. Thomas Oyles< no role > & Mr. James
Hebert were severally nominated to be returned to ye. Wardmote
for Common Councel Men for the Year ensuing & were ordered to
be returned accordingly.
