This Vestry was Summoned by Mr. Jasper Helmunt< no role >
Upper Church Warden for the Choice of Parish Officers for the year ensuing
Vizt. Church Wardens , Sidesmen and Collectors for the Poor.

Mr. Saml. Littlebury< no role > chose
Upper Church Warden

At this Vestry Mr. Samuel Littlebury< no role > was put up for upper Church
Warden for the year ensuing and chose.

Mr John Townsend< no role > offered
to Fine for parish Offices.

Then Mr. George Scullard< no role > acquainted the Gentlemen present
that Mr John Townsend< no role > Surgeon had desired him, and in his name to
make a Voluntary Offer to Fine for parish Offices

his Offer accepted.

Ordered that the said voluntary Offer of Mr Townsend be with
thanks accepted.

Mr. Richard Hargrave< no role >
chose under Church Warden
but admitted to Fine
£13. having served
Collector.

Then Mr. Richard Hargrave< no role > was put up for Under Church
Warden for the Year ensuing and chose, but it was moved on his behalf
to admit him to Fine for the Said Office, and the question being put
it was Ordered that he should be Exempted from serving the said Office
on paying a Fine of £13 only, having before served Collector.

Mr Wm. Barber chose
under Church Warden.

Then Mr. William Barber< no role > was put up for Under Church Warden
for the year ensuing in the Room of Mr. Hargrave< no role > and chose.

Mr Jasper Mauduit< no role > and
Mr Wm. Farnworth chose
Sidesmen .

Then Mr. Jasper Mauduit< no role > and Mr. Wm. Farnworth< no role > were severally
put up to serve the Offices of Sidesmen for the year ensuing and chose.

Mr Thos. Tryon and Mr
James Benezett< no role > chose
Collectors.

Then Mr.Thomas Tryon and Mr. James Benezett< no role > were severally
put up to serve the Offices of Collectors for the poor and chose.

Mrs Susan Wood< no role > chose
Sextoness.

Then Mrs. Susan Wood< no role > was put up for Sextoness for
the year ensuing and chose.

A new Surplice for Dr
Smith & Gown for the
parish Clerk Ordered.

Ordered That a new Surplice be provided for the Reverend
Dr. Smith, and a Gown for the Parish Clarke.

A proposal read for
increasing the Rates or
dutys for tolling the Bells.

Then Mr Church Warden Helmunt delivered in a proposal at
the Table for increasing the rates or Dutys paid for tolling the Bells.
