Fryday Novr. the 27th. 1741

At a Generall Court held at the Hall

PresentThe Wardens Assistants and most of the
Livery.

TheCerkeClerke by the direccon of the Wardens & Assistants declared
a Vacancy to the Livery of the death of Mr. Nath. Ward< no role > one late Master
deced and that they had perused the By-Law in Respect to the choice of
of a New Master in the Room of the said Mr. Ward deced. & the Clerk
further Acquainted the Livery that they were sumoned as usual for this
Election According to a By-Law in Such Case made & provided then
they proceeded to the Choice and Mr. Nath. Benbridge< no role > Mr. Saml. Boughton< no role >
& Mr. Edwd. Bowcher< no role > were Nominated to chuse One of them Master in the
the Room of the sd. Mr. Ward deced And the said Nath. Benbridge< no role > was chosen
Master for the Remaining part of the year Then theLivery WithdWardens
& Assistants Withdrew into the Parlour & put in Nominacon for upper
Warden in the Room of Mr. Benbridge chosenupper WardenMaster & then
Went into the Hall & Nominatedthe sd. Thos R(with the Assents of the
Livery) Thos. Ripley< no role > Esqr . Mr. George Newland< no role > & Mr. Robert Plimpton< no role > to be
upper Warden and the said Thos. Ripley< no role > Esqr . was chosen upper Warden
in thefor the Remaining part of the year in the Room of the said Mr. Benbridge
chosen Master as aforesaid And the said Nath. Benbridge< no role > was now Sworne
in Master Accordingly. But Thos. Ripley< no role > Esqr . being Absent his Swearing in is
deferred to the next Court.

Mr. Nath. Benbridge< no role > 34 Elected
Mr. Saml. Boughton< no role > -2
Mr Edwd. Bowcher< no role >

Mr. Nath. Benbridge< no role > being chosen Master in the Room of Mr. Ward deced. the Master
Elect Wardens & Assistants withdrew into the Parlour and declared a Vacancy for
upper Warden in the Room of Mr. Nath. Benbridge< no role > chosen Master and Thomas
Ripley
< no role > Esqr . being next in turn to be upper Warden (and this year out of Office) the
Master Elects Wardens & Assistants (with the Assents of the Livery) do put in
Nominacon for upper Warden

Mr George Newland< no role > -1
Mr. Robert Plimpton< no role > -1

30 Six pences were paid the Livery.
