This Court was Sumoned on the Occasion of the Death of Mr. Nath.
Ward our late Master
deceased to Consult the Election of a
proper person to Succeed the said Mr. Ward as Master
for the Remainder
of the Year then the Question was put who should take the
Chair
and it is now Ordered that Mr. Edward Bowcher< no role >
do take the
Chair
he being the Antienst Master
present.
Ordered that the Clerk do Read the By-Law touching the Election
of a Master in the Room ofa Masterthe said Mr. Ward deced
which was Read
by the Clerk Accordingly.
Ordered that the Master Wardens Assistants & Livery of this Company
be Sumoned as usual to the Hall on Frydaynightnext for the
choice of a master for the Remaining part of the year in the Room
ofthesaid Master. Ward deced.
Ordered that a Dinner be provided for the Livery on this Occasion
and that the Warden do give [..] Six pence to Every Livery Man
who shall Appear in their Livery Gowns & none others
Ordered that the Dinner may be plain as on Michas day.
