I Do hereby agree to take a Tenement in the Carpenters New Buildings
in London Wall No. 5. of the Worshipfull Company of Carpenters for One
years certain & half a years Warning to Comence from Lady day next
& will pay the said Company £18. P Ann by Quarterly payments and I now
paid Mr Bush the Renter Warden of the sd. Company five Shillings in part
of the first Quarters Rent Witness my hand this 5th. day of Janry 1741.

Mr. Warden Bushhassigned an Agreemt. dated this day on the behalf of the
Company to paint the Room up two pair of Stairs & to put down a Marble
Slab in the Room one pair of Stairs & one Do. in the Parlour & [..] a few
Shelves and such little Conveniencis in the Cellar & Closetts as will be
Wanted and has agree on the behalf & by the Consent of the Company in Case
the sd. Mrs. Ball shall Put up a Marble Chimney peice she shall be at
liberty to take down the same puting up the Stone one again.

Ordered that Clerk of the Company do write to the person who has Erected
a shed or building agt- part of Mr. Fordhams premises now in the Occupacon of
Mrs. Birch as being the Complaint of the Company and that in Case the
Person does not pull down the present Building & others to [..] carry on any more
buildings the Company is determined to take such Method as the Law divots
to [..] Oblige him to pull down the same

Mr. Everett now appeared & denied the Company to quitt him of his Lease & Rent
he having mett with Misfortunes upon his Delivering up all the Tax Bills
he now produced which amounted to 3:16:6 Thereupon & on debate of
the matter & the Company Considering his Misfortunes he having been a
Very good Tenant Do Order that he may imediately surrender up his
Lease & the Clerk shall deliver up his Counterpart to him And as to the
Arrears of Rent being three Quarters due at Christmas last being £18. including
taxes this Court do now in Case the sd. Mr. Everatt shall leave on the
Premisses all the Buildings Wainscoating & additions & the Leaden Cistem
which he bought & [..] is placed on the Kitchen wall the Company in such
Case do forgive him all Arrears of Rent

The Company gives Mr. Everett Leave to take away all his Moveable
Household Goods together with the Sevll. Utensills as follow
One Marsh Tunn One Under back three Working Tunns, two Coolers
two Elm Pumps and he his moveable Castes & Vessells belonging to
the Brewing TradeAnd Also one brass Lock

Ordered that the Clerk do Advertize Everetts house 4 times Once
