The Voluntary Examination of Sarah
Dean

the said County of Middlesex Singlewoman taken on oath
before me Robert Smith< no role > Esquire one of his Majesties
Justices of the Peace in and for the said County this
twenty Second day of April one thousand Seven hundred
and eighty eight - Who Saith that on the Ninth
day of April instant at the house of Mr Carnley Grocer
in Lower East Smithfield in the said Parish of Saint
Botolph without Aldgate She the said Sarah Dean< no role >
was delivered of a Male Bastard Child and that the Sd
Bastard Child is likely to become Chargeable to the
said Parish of St Botolph without Aldgate And
that Richard Roberts< no role > of Fenchurch Street London
Wine Merchant did get her with Child of the said
Bastard Child
