Ann Paddington< no role > Single woman
maketh oath that Sometime ago She was hired &
lived as a hired Servant by & with Mr. Blore an
Undertaker in the Parish of St Botolph without
Aldgate in the Sd County at certain Wages & Continued
in Such Service under Such hiring for the Space of
one Year & half & has not since lived as a hired Servant
for the Space of a year elsewhere nor was she
ever Married nor hath She done any Act to gain
a Subsequent Settlement That She this Deponent
hath a Child named or Called George< no role > (but which
Child was not as Yet been baptized) aged thirteen
months born of this Deponents body in a Place
Called Molsom in the Parish of Chelmsford in
the County of Essex the which Child is a Bastard
& illegitimate by reason that She this Deponent
was never married and that Thomas Newport< no role >
late of the Sd Parish of St. Botolph without
Aldgate Japanner is the Father of the Said Child
