John Newton< no role > maketh oath that
he lately rented a house of the Yearly Rent of Fourteen
Pounds a year in Back Street in the Hamlet of Mile
End Old Town in the Parish of St Dunstan Stepney
in the sd County & was charged to And Paid Poors Rates
for the Same That he has not Since rented a house of
Ten Pounds a year or upwards or Served any Parish
office or Paid any Poors Rates or kings Taxes or done
any Act to gain a subsequent Settlement That he
hath a Wife named Anna< no role > & two Children namely
John< no role > aged five years & Margaret< no role > aged Thirteen
Months the lawful Issue of this deponent by his sd
Wife to whom he was lawfully Married.
