Elizabeth Stevens< no role > of the Parish of St Botolph
without Aldgate in the sd County Singlewoman taken
on oath before me one of his Majesties Justices of the
Peace in & for the sd County this Thirdday
of February 1784 -Who on oath Saith that five
Weeks ago at the house of Henry Moore< no role > Situate
in Red Cross Street in the sd Parish Bricklayer She
this Examinant was delivered of a Male Bastard
Child Since baptized by the name of George Moore< no role >
And that the Said Child is likely to become
Chargeable to the said Parish of Saint Botolph
without Aldgate and that the said Henry Moore< no role >
is the Father of the Said Child

maketh oath that Sometime ago She was hired &
lived as a hired Servant by & with one Moore a Victualler
in the Parish of Saint John Wapping in the said
County at Certain Wages & Continued in Such service
under Such hiring for the Space of one Year & upwards
& has not Since lived as a hired Servant for the Space
of a year elsewhere nor was She ever Married
nor hath She done any Act to gain a Subsequent
Settlement That She hath a Child named George
Moore
< no role > Aged five Weeks born in Red Cross Street in the
Parish of St Botolph without Aldgate in the sd County
Which illegitimate & a Bastard & that one Henry
Moore
< no role > of the Same Place Bricklayer is the
Father of the sd Child
