Sarah Staple< no role > Singlewoman maketh oath
that sometime ago she was hired & lived as a hired servant
by & with Mr John Pyecroft< no role > a Mast factor in the Parish
of St Magdalen in Old Fish Street in the City of London
at Certain Wages & Continued in such Service under such
hiring for the Space of one year & upwards & has not
Since lived as a hired Servant for the Space of a year
elsewhere nor was she ever Married nor hath she
done any Act to gain a subsequent Settlement That she
hath a Child named Will Burr< no role > aged Sixteen Weeks
born of her Body in Cartwright Street in the Parish
of St Botolph without Aldgate in the sd County which
Child is illegitimate & a Bastard by Reason this Depont
was never Married And that one William Burr< no role > of
Cartwright Street aforesd Labourer at No 33 there is
the Father of the Said Child.
