Henry Davis< no role > Maketh oath that he
is now a Pensioner in Greenwich Hospital That
this Deponents late Father Samuel Davis deced
many Years ago lived in & rented a house of the yearly
rent of Ten Pounds a year & upwards in St John's
Square in the Parish of St James Clerkenwell
in the County of Middx & paid Poors Rates for the
Same in which Parish this Depont was also born
& this Deponent Can give no othr Account respectg
his Sd Father Settlement That he this Deponent never
lived as a hired Servant for a year nor ever was bound
An Apprentice nor ever rented a house of Ten Pounds
a year or upwards nor ever Served any Parish office
nor ever paid any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes not
ever did any Act to gain a Settlement in his own
right That he hath a wife named Elizabeth < no role > to
Whom he was lawfully married
