of John Wellman< no role > late of Great Yarmouth in the County
of Norfolk Fisherman by Mary < no role > his wife both deced
whose Maiden Surname was Bastings < no role > That She this
Deponent was lawfully married to her Said late husband
by the name of John
Wellman Bastings

believes) taking upon him & adding his Mothers Maiden
Surname of Bastings By Which name he was Called
When he married this Deponent but what was the real Motive
Which induced him to add his Mothers Maiden Surname
to his Own Surname Wellman She Can't Set forth or discover
That her said husband has informed her & Which She believes
to be true that he was born in Great Yarmouth aforesaid
& as this Deponent has also been informed & believes received
Some Education in the Charity School there And Whether
her Said husband ever did any Act to gain a Settlement
for himself She Can't in any Wise Set forth or discover
nor can She in any Wise Set forth or discover where
her Said husbands Parents or either of them was or
Were legally Settled at the time of their respcive deaths
That She this Depont. Since her Sd husband death hath
not done any Act to gain a Settlement for herself
And She hath three Children namely Ann < no role > Aged
about Eight Years & three months William < no role >
