oath That her Father Nathaniel Mitchell< no role > was born in
Parts beyond the Seas as She has been informed and
believes & to her knowledge or belief he never did any
Act to gain a Settlement for himself in any place in
the Kingdom of Great Britain & this Depont Can
give no Account respecting the Settlement of her late
Mother Mary Mitchell< no role > deced Save that She has informd
this Depont that previous to her Marriage with this
Deponts Sd father She had gained a Settlement by
Servitude in the Parish of Saint George in the Said
County That She this Deponent hath a Brother named
Alexander Mitchell< no role > who is now absent at Sea & who
was born in Farthing Fields in the Said Parish of
St George & who to this Deponts knowledge or belief
never was an Apprentice nor ever lived as a hired servant
for a year nor ever rented a house of Ten Pounds a
Year or upwards nor ever Served any Parish office
nor ever Paid any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes nor
ever did any Act to gain a Settlement in his own
right That this Deponents Sd Brother hath a
wife named Elizabeth < no role > to Whom he was lawfully
Married.
