John Andrews< no role > of the Parish of St. Botolph witht
Aldgate in the Said County Beadle maketh oath That he wells
knows a Child named Dorothy Granger< no role > aged about nine years
who on the Twenty Second of December one thousand Seven hundred
& Seventy five was duly bound Apprentice by the Parish officers
of the Sd parish of St Botolph without Aldgate to one Elizabeth
Taylor
< no role > of the Parish of St Leonard Shoreditch Tambour worker
That he this Deponent has been Since Credibly informed & believes
the Same to be true That the sd Mistress Taylor removed with
her Said Apprentice to the parish of St Mary at Lambeth in the
County of Surrey in the month of March last where the Said
Apprentice Continued with her Sd Mistress till Some time in the
Month of June last when the Mother of the sd Apprentice Wrongfully
& against the Consent of the sd Mistress Elizabeth Taylor< no role > took the
Sd Apprentice away from her Sd Mistress & She is Since become
Chargeable to the sd parish of St Botolph without Aldgate & hath
done no Act to gain a Settlement Since her Departure from her Sd
Mistress as aforesd
