mariner maketh oath that her said husband is now on Board
his Majesties ship the Hone Such on a voyage to America as She
this Deponent as been informed & believes that She this Depont.
Can give no Account respecting his Settlement Save that he has
informed her that he was born in Ireland That She this Depont
was born in the Parish of Aimsworth near Portsmouth in the
County of Southampton & never lived as a hired Servant for a
year nor was ever bound Apprentice in any part of the Kingdom
of Great Britain nor ever did any act to her knowledge or
belief to gain a Settlement for herself Save What She may have
Acquired by marriage With her Said husband That this Deponts
late Father Morgan Williams< no role > deced divers years ago rented a
house of the Yearly rent of Forty pounds in the Parish of
Aimsworth aforesaid & was charged to & paid Parochial Taxes
for the Same & by means thereof gained a legal Settlement there
& did not afterwards do any Act to her knowledge or belief to
gain a Settlement elsewhere That She this Deponent hath a
Child named Benjamin Bedford< no role > Aged about four Months the lawful
Issue of this Deponentsy her sd husband to whom She was lawfully
married.

that her late Father Edward Marshal< no role > deced divers years ago
rented a house in Baileys Place in the Parish of Saint Botolph
without Aldgate in the Said County & was Charged to and paid
Poors Rates for the Same & by means thereof gained a legal
Settlement there at which time She this Deponent was part of
his Family & in which place She was born That her said Father
to her Knowledge or belief did not afterwards in any Act to
gain a Subsequent Settlement That She this Deponent never
was bound and Apprentice nor ever lived as a hired Servant for
a year nor was ever married nor ever did any Act to her
Knowledge or belief to gain a Settlement for herself.

maketh oath that Since the death of her Said late husband She was
hired & lived as a hired Servant by the year at Certain yearly Wages
by & with Hans Tennis< no role > of the Precinct of St Catherine in the sd
County Victualler & Continued in Such Service for the Space of
three years & by means there of gained a legal Settlement there That
She has not Since lived as a hired Servant for a year nor been
married nor done any Act to gain a Subsequent Settlement That
She hath a Child named Peter James Hedgely< no role > aged about fourteen months which is illegitmate Note See this Examn. on the other Side.
