Mary Brown< no role > the Widow of Robert Brown< no role > deced
maketh oath that her said late husband some Years ago Rented a house in Mathers Court
Redmaid Lane in the parish of Saint George in the County of Middx
& was Charged to and paid the Kings Tax for the same & by means
there of gained a legal Settlement there That her Said late husband
did not afterwards Rent a house of the Yearly Rent or Value of Ten
Pounds or Serve any parish office or pay any Poors Rates or Kings
Taxes nor do any Act to gain a Subsequent Settlement That She this
Deponent Since his death hath not rented a house of the Yearly Rent
or Value of Ten pounds or paid any Poors Rates or Kings Taxes nor
done any Act to gain a Settlement in her own right That She hath three
Children namely George< no role > aged about thirteen Years & four Months Mary< no role >
Aged Seven Years & Thomas< no role > Aged about five Years & four months the
lawful Issue of this Deponent by her said late husband to whom she
was lawfully married in the Church belonging to the Parish of Saint
Botolph without Aldgate London & none of which Children have as
Yet done any Act to gain a Settlement for him her or themselves.
