Elizabeth Ross< no role > the wife of Wm. Ross< no role > who is lately
gone away from her to places unknown to her maketh oath that
She Can give no Account respecting her sd. husbands place of Settlemt
nor of this Parents or either of them that She this Deponent
divers years ago & previous to her Marriage with her sd. husband was
hired & lived as a hired Servant by the year at Certain yearly Wages
by & with one Mrs Chambers wife of Major Chambers in Scotland
& Continued in Such Service for three years The last year of which
three years She Served her said Master & Mistress in the parish of
St Mary le Bone in the County of Middlesex & then She left Such
Service & was hired again & lived as a hired Servant by the year at
Certain Wages by & with one Mr Dimmock in the Same parish
& Continued in Such Service last Menconed for Nine Months & by
means of Such Services as She is Advised gained a legal Settlement
in the said parish of St Mary le Bone & She has not Since lived as
a hired Servant for a year nor done any Act to gain a Settlement in
her own right Save what She may have Acquired by Marriage that
She this Depont. hath two children namely Susannah aged< no role > about
Two years & Willm. Aged< no role > about three months the lawful Issue of
this Deponent by her said husband to whom She was lawfully Married
