mariner deced Maketh the oath That She Can give no Account
respecting the Settlement of her Said late husband or of his
Parents Save that her said husband has informed her that
he was born in Lincolnshire but What Parish or Place
there he never to be her That this Deponts. late Father
William Best< no role > deced divers Years Ago rented a Publick
house known by the Sign of the Curriers Arms in Cow
Lane in that part of the Parish of Saint Sepulchre as her
in the County of Middlesex which house was of more than
the Yearly Rent or Value of Ten Pounds and he was
Charged to and Paid Parish Taxes for the Same & by Mean
thereof gained a legal Settlement there and at Which
time & Place this Depont. lived with her said Father and
was Part of his Family and from Whence She was Married
to her said late husband That She this Depont. was never
bound apprentice nor ever lived as a hired Servant for a
Year nor ever did any Act to gain a Settlement in her own
right.
