Middlesex ss.

Eleanor Swinney< no role > Singlewoman maketh
Oath that she has heard her Mother say that
her late Father Patrick Swinney< no role > was duly
bound Apprentice by Indenture for Seven
Years to Mr. Cox of the Pageants in the
Parish of St. Mary Rotherhithe in the County
of Surrey Ship Breaker [..] and served
the whole of his said Apprenticeship with
his said Master there that her said late
Father did not since his Apprenticeship Rent any
House or Lodging of the yearly Rent or
Value of Ten Pounds or pay any Poors Rate
or Kings Tax or do any Act to her knowledge
or belief to gain a subsequent settlement
that she this Deponent was born at Globe
Stairs in the said Parish of St. Mary Rotherhithe
as she has been informed by her Mother, a
further for herself saith that she has never
been an Apprentice or lived as a hired
Servant by the year in any Parish or
Place for the Space of One year together
or done any Act to her knowledge or
belief to gain a Settlement in her own
Right & that she never was Married
And further saith that she is now with Child
& being with Child is deemed & taken to
be a Person chargeable to the Parish of
St. Botolph without Aldgate in the County of
Middlesex where she now resides
