Continued Thursday 26th. Novemr. 1795 .

And had ordered that a Carpet and two Bedside Carpets should
be purchased for the Stewards parlour and Bed room under the
direction of Mr. Auditor General.

And had ordered that a Bed and furniture should be provide
for the Apothecary under the direction of Mr. Auditor General
at an expence not exceeding £15.

And that the Committee had consented to an application of
John Griffiths< no role > the Porter requesting that his Wife might be
permitted to reside with him in the Hospital.

The minutes of the Committee of Auditors of the 30th. of September
last were read and confirmed whereby it appeared.

That the Committee had audited the accounts for the last there
months and found the sums which were in the hands of
the different Officers amounted to £3057..19..5

The Court having been informed by the Treasurer that the business
which was referred the last Court to the Prison Committee had
been partly proceeded upon but that it was not yet wholly concluded
it was therefore moved and Seconded and Resolved unanimously
that the reading of the minutes of the Prison Committee be deferred
to the next Court.

Money for the releif
Etc.


Resolved that Mr. Treasurer do pay such sum or sums of money
(not exceeding £50 in the whole) and in such proportions as the
Prison Committee shall think proper to give for the relief of the
Workmen who were hurt by the falling of the Building intended for
the reception of Men Prisoners and the Relations of those who
had the misfortune to lose their lives by that accident

At this Court Jeremiah Dick< no role > and Peter Mortimer< no role > Esqrs . were elected
Governors of these Hospitals and received their Charges.

The Treasurer reported that he had received a benefaction of
£50 for the use of Bethlem Hospital from Robt. Mylne< no role > Esqr .

Resolved that the thanks of this Court be communicated to Mr.
Mylne for his kind and charitable donation.
