Tuesday 22d. September
That the Committee had Contracted with Thomas Dalby< no role >
to
supply the Hospital with Beef Mutton and Veal from
Michas to Lady day at 3s/7d Pr. Stone.
And had Resolved that a Gratuity of Ten Guineas be given
to Mr. Thomas Gozna< no role >
for his care and attendance upon the
patients since the death of his Brother the late Apothecary
And had Resolved that Elizh. Hardy< no role >
who has been a long
and faithful Servant of the late Mr. John Gozna< no role >
be permitted
to reside in the Hospital that she be allowed the provisions of
the House and that the Steward be authorized to pay her
5 Guineas Pr. Anm.
And had ordered that some furniture Linen and other
articles for the use of the Apothecary
should be provided
under the direction of Mr. Auditor General at an expence not
exceeding £50.
And had approved Mr. Treasurers appointment of William
Atkinson< no role >
of Tooley Street
to be Slater to this Hospital

And had ordered that the Steward do pay to Mr. Treasurer
£55.16.2 which was found in the Cell of Henry Bailey< no role >
an Incurable Patient
after his decease.
Tuesday 3d. November
Resolved that Mr. Treasurer
be requested to summon a Committee
to take into consideration the Standing Rules and Orders res
pecting Contracts and to consider the best mode of performing
the repairs remaining to be done to the Hospital And to take
into consideration the Standing Rules and orders respecting
the Election of Committees.
And had ordered that the Stewards Apartments be painted
and Whitewashed under the direction of the Surveyor.
