of the Right Revd. The Lord Bishop of Bustol Two Guineas and of the Reverend
The Arch Deacon of Saint Albans Two Guineas by the hands of the Reverend
Moses Wight< no role > for the use of Incurables in Bethlem Hospital It was moved and
seconded that Mr. Wight be desired to give the Thanks of this Court to the Lord Bishop of
Bristol and the Arch Deacon of Saint Albons for their kind and Charitable Donations

At this Court the following Gentleman were Nominated to be Governors of
these Hospitals Vizt. William Deal< no role > of Clapham in the County of Surry Esquire
Charles Warren< no role > of Lincols Inn Esqr . and John Conyers< no role > of Capped Hall in the County of
Essex Esqr . It is Ordered that the consideration of this Nomination be referred to the
Committee of this House who are desired to make their Report therein to this Court

his Legacy of £100 reported


At this Court on Extract of the Will of the Reverend Nicholas Fasting< no role >
late of the Parish of Saint Martin Outwich in the City of London Clark deceased
Dated 22nd. November 1788 whereby he has given to the Governors of Bethlem Hospital
£100 was read.

Upon Reading the Humble Petition of John Pemberton Stevens< no role > Citizen and
Taylor Setting forth that he served his Apprenticeship in this Hospital to Thomas
Whitaker
< no role > by Indenture Dated 29th. April 1779 and by Order of Court of the 27th
of July 1786 was made free of this City the 12th. September 1786 in set up for
himself in his Trade at No. 14 Ship Your Temple Box and has received part of
Mr. Fowkes Gift and praying part of Mr. Locks Gift It is Ordered that John Birch< no role > Esqr . Francis Altham
Cumberledge
< no role > Esqr . and Mr. George Whiteside< no role > or any Two of them be desired to Inquires
whether the said John Pemberton Stevens be set up for himself in his said Trade and
of his hopefullness therein and report their Opinion thereon to this Court
