Richard Clark< no role > Esqr . Alderman Treasurer reported that he
had received of Edward David Batson of Lombard Street Esquire
Fifty Pounds for the use of Bridewell and Bethlem Hospitals It
was moved and seconded that the thanks of this Court be given
to Mr. Batson for his kind and Charitable Donation.

Richard Clark< no role > Esquire Alderman Treasurer reported that
he had received of John Baker< no role > of Princess Street Spital Fields
Fifty two pounds ten Shillings for the use of Bridewell and
Bethlem Hospitals It was moved and seconded that the
thanks of this Court be given to Mr. Baker for his kind and
Charitable Donation

Lombard Street Esquire John Baker< no role > of Princess Street Spital
Fields Esquire and Richard Godman Temple< no role > of Portsmouth
Esquire It is Ordered that the consideration of this nomination
be reported to the Committee of this House who are desired to
make their Report therein to this Court.

Upon Reading an Order of Common Council in the Words
and figures following Burnell Mayor A Common Council holden
in the Guildhall in the City of London on Wednesday the 29th
day of October 1788 The Common Council Men of the several
Wards of Bridge and Line Street having met together agreeable
to the several Resolutions of this Court of the 20th. of February
1783 Did this day present Mr Marmaduke Thompson< no role > of the
Ward of Bridge to be a Governor of Bridewell and Bethlem
Hospitals in the room of Mr. William Curling< no role > not in Common
Council and also Mr. Jacob Cope< no role > of the Ward of Bridge to be
a Governor of Saint Bartholomew's Hospital in the room of
Mr. Deputy Clement Corderoy< no role > deceased This Court doth therefore
nominate and appoint them Governors of the said Hospitals
accordingly Rix It is Ordered that the said Order be
Entered among the Minutes of this Court

At this Court an Extract of the Will of Roger Altham< no role >
of the Parish of Saint Mary Jolington in the County of
Middlesex Esquire deceased bearing date the 13th. July 1788 and
and proved the 29th. day of October last whereby he gave £50 to
Bridewell and Bethlem Hospitals was read
