Continued Wednesday 30th. April 1783 .

Mr. Rix Town Clerk of the City of London
having delivered a Resolution of the said City to John
Woodhouse
< no role > Esqr . Clerk of these Hospitals and the same
being read in the words and figures following Vizt.

City of London Kien Rosolution

Town Clerk to the Clerk of these
Hospitals respecting the names
of 12 persons appointed Govrs.
of each of the Royal Hospitals

Newnham MayorA Common Council
holden in the Chamber of the Guildhall of the City of London
on Thursday the 20th. day of March 1783 and in the 23d.
Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the third
King of Great Britain Etc.

Resolved that the Forty eight Members do imediately
Proceed to Ballot for the Order of Precedency in which they
shall stand as Governors of the respective Hospitals they are
this Day Nominated and appointed to.

The Scrutineers then Proceeded to take the sd. Ballot
and having finished the same declared the Names as
follow

Mr. Thos. Axford< no role > Walbrook

Ordered that Mr. Town Clerk do deliver to the
Clerks of the several Hospitals of Saint Bartholomew
