And we have in the Schedules to this our Report
annexed Setforth the Names of all such Tenants who at Christmas
last were above Nine Months in Arrear with the Sums they
respectively owed and their Annual Rents and in whose Collection
the same are But in that Account of Arrears We do find Sums
of Money due for Rent from several Tenants whose Property
was lost in the Calamity of the Fire at Wapping
and who
had Terms of Years unexpired in their Leases and as the
Hospital has taken Possession of the Premises included in
those Leases for the better disposition and allotment of the
New Buildings
We are of Opinion and recommend it to
the Court that those Arrears shod. in the next Account be
wrote off as the Continuation of them in the Hospital Books
only Serves to Magnify the Sum and not the least Advantage
is likely to Result to the Hospital by keeping the Accounts
with such Tenants any longer open
The first Schedule to which our Report
refers Containing the Names of all such Tenants
belonging to Bridewell Hospital
who at
Christmas 1782 were above Nine Months in
arrear with the Sums they respectively owed
their Annual Rents & in whose Collection the
same are.
