And that the sum Total of the
Money paid expended and disbursed for
Bethlem Hospital the Particulars whereof
appear by the Hospital Ledger in fo.225
amounts to the Sum of}6954..4..5½


To that the Outgoings of Bethlem
Hospital have this Year exceeded
the Income by the Sum of
1154..18..1¾

Which Sum of £1154..18..1¾ was Provided
for and paid out of the Monies in the Treasurers
Hands belonging to the Hospital of Bridewell

And We further Certify that the Treasurer
has this Year paid sundry Tenants at Wapping on
Account of the Money agreed to be allowed them to
Build new Houses upon the scite of Ground whereon
the Houses burnt down formerly stood the Sum of
£24054..4s And that there are several other Sums
of Money still to be paid by him to them on that
Account out of the Cash remaining in his Hands
which we do find he does pay as the Surveyor from
time to time Certifies in what State the Buildings
are and when the Persons applying for Drafts are
agreeable to their Contracts Intitled to receive the same

And we do further Certify that the
Balances in Cash which remained at Christmas
1782 in the Hands of the Treasurer and different
Officers of the Hospitals and receiver of the
Lincolnshire Estate were as follows Vizt.
