confirmed.

The Minutes of the House Committee were read
and Confirmed.

The Minutes of the Prison Committee were read
and Confirmed.

Elected Governors


At this Court James Adair< no role > Esqr . Recorder
of the City of London & James Roberts< no role > of Guildhall Esqr . were
unanimously Elected Governors of these Hospitals and
It is Ordered that Staves be sent them forthwith.

Price Thomas< no role > to be paid £10
Mr. Fowkes's gift


Edward Atkins< no role > Esqr . one of the Governors reported
that in Pursuance of an Order of Court of the 21st. Day of
November last he had made an Inquiry and found that
Thomas Price< no role > late Apprentice to William Wilby< no role > Sent. was set-
up for himself in his Trade and has the Character of a diligent
and Sober Man It is Ordered that the Clerk do pay the
said Thos. Price Ten Pounds out of Mr. Fowkes Gift to be
allowed him in his next Account.

Harris Lady her Benefaction
of £100 reported


Mr. Treasurer reported that he had received of Lady
Harris the Widow of Sir Thomas Harris< no role > Knt . deced by the
Hands of James Kettilby< no role > Esqr . the Sum of £100. for the Use of
Bridewell & Bethlem Hospitals. It was moved and seconded
that the thanks of this Court be given to Lady Harris for her
kind and Charitable Donation which is unanimously Ordered
and that Mr. Kettilby be desired to signify the sense of this
Court respecting such her Ladyships Benefaction.
