Continued Friday 7th. June 1782 .

President
Crosby Brass< no role > Elected and his
Bemfaction of £100 reported


these Hospitals in the room of Brackley Kennett< no role > Esqr . Aldn .
deceased and a Motion being made and seconded That the
Worshipful Brass Crosby Esqr . one of the Aldermen of this City be
Elected Presdient of these Hospitals and the Question being put
by the Right Honble Sir William Plomer< no role > Knt . Lord Mayor of
this City was unanimously carried and his Lordship thereupon
Declared Mr. Aldn . Crosby duly Elected President of these
Hospitals till the next Election Day and Mr. Treasurer and
Mr. Auditor General were desired to wait upon him and
Communicate such Resolution and he being in the Dining Room
they Attended him accordingly and he came into Court acknowledged
the Great Honour he had received by the Appointment and
Assured the Court he should punctually and faithfully Discharge
the Trust Committed to his Care and at the same time Presented
to Mr. Treasurer a Benefaction of £100.. for the benefit of
these Hospitals Whereupon the Thanks of this Court was
Ordered and given to Mr. Crosby for him generous and
Charitable Donation.

Williams Sarah her Benefaction
of £40 reported


Mr. Treasurer reported that he had received of
Mrs. Sarah Williams< no role > of Lamb's Conduct Street a Benefaction
of £40 for the Use of the Incurable Lunatics in Bethlem
Hospital It is Ordered that the Thanks of this Court be
given to the said Mrs. Williams for her Charitable Donation.

Kingston Elizabeth< no role > he Legacy of
£40 reported


Mr. Treasurer reported that Elizabeth Kingston< no role >
late of Great Hale in the County of Lincoln Spinster by her
Will bearing date the 7th. day of February 1780 had given
£40 to Bethlem Hospital.

Fitch Joseph< no role > to be paid £10
Mr Fowkes Gift.


Henry Major< no role > Esqr . and Mr. Thomas Beardmore< no role > two of
the Governors report that in Pursuance of an Order of Court of the 24th.
Day of May last they had made an Inquiry and found that
Joseph Fitch< no role > late Apprentice to William Wilby< no role > Junior was set
