at a Committee Friday 16th. July 1773 In Pursuance of an Order of
Court bearing date the 13th. day of this Instant July This Committee
have Considered of a Proper Person to be Surveyor of the Works and
Workmen of the Hospitals of Bridewell and Bethlem and are
Unanimously of Opinion that Mr. Richard Williams< no role > is a proper
Person All which is nevertheless Submitted to the Judgement of the
Court And it is Ordered that this Opinion be reported to the next Court
This Court having duly weighted and Considered the said Report
doth concurr with the said Committee in their Opinion and doth therefore
Confirm the same.

Upon Reading the Humble Petition of Jonathan Redgrave< no role > Citizen
& weaver Setting forth that he served his Apprentiship in this Hospital to
Joshua Crickett< no role > one of the Artsmasters by Indentures dated 4th August 1762
and by Order of Court of 30th November 1769 was Ordered to be made free
of this City and was made free the 20 day of April 1773 and praying part
of Mr Fowkes Gift It is Ordered that Willm Gomm< no role > Esqr . Mr. Deputy
William Fouch< no role > and Mr. John Heorne< no role > or any two of them be desired to
Inquire If the said Jonathan Redgrave< no role > be set up for himself in his said
Trade and of his hopefulness therein & report their Opinion thereon to this Court
