was made free of this City the 3d. day of October last Hus Recd.
Mr. Fowkes Gift And set up for himself in his Trade at No. 7 Red
Lion Court Fetter Lane Praying Mr. Locks Gift It is Ordered
that Edward Umfreville< no role > Esqr . Charles Vere< no role > Esqr . and Mr. Richd. Crowther< no role >
or any two of them be desired to inquire if the said Henry Langley< no role >
be set up for himself in his Trade and of his hopefulness therein &
Report the same to the Court

inquired after for Mr. Locks

Upon Reading the Humble Petition of Thomas Pritchard< no role > Citizen
and weaver Setting forth that he Served his Apprentiship in
this Hospital to George Dell< no role > one of the Artsmasters by Indenture dated
the 13th. of July 1762 And by Order of Court of the 30th. of Novr. 1769
was made free of this City the 16th. of January 1770 And set up for
himself in his Trade at Mr. Stevens's in Exeter Street in the Strand
Three Doors on the left Hand from Catherine Street Praying Mr.
Locks Gift It is Ordered that Edwd. Umfreville< no role > Esqr . Mr. Richd. Crowther< no role >
& Mr. Richd. Lyster< no role > or any two of them be desired to Inquire if the
said Thos. Pritchard< no role > be set up for himself in his Trade and of his
hopefulness therein and Report the same to the Court

was made free of this City 3d. July Instant and set up for
himself in his Trade at No. 1 Water Lane Fleet Street Praying
Mr. Fowkes Gift It is Ordered that Edwd. Umfreville< no role > Chas. Vere< no role >
and Robt. Fleetwood< no role > Esqr s. or any two of them be desired to Inquire
if the said Richd. Minn< no role > be set up for himself in his Trade and
of his hopefulness therein & Report the same to the Court

Mr. Treasr. Reported that he had Reced of James Mathias< no role >
£50 for the Use of Bethlem Hospital It is Ordered that
the thanks of this Court be given to the said Mr. Mathias which
was done accordingly.

his place of Artsmaster


Mr. Joseph Sharpe< no role > one of the Artsmasters after returning
Thanks to the Court for the many Favours Received desired
leave to Resign his said Office or place of Artsmaster, which
this Court accepted of accordingly

Elected governors.


This Court doth Elect John Rooke< no role > Esqr . of Coleman Street
& John Wayland< no role > Esqr of Cross Lane near Bottolph Lane Govrs .
of these Hospitals And it is Ordered that Staves by sent them
forthwith Notwithstanding the Order of Court of the 29th. day of
June 1769 .
