on a Petition presented to the Court on 2d. November 1758 the Petitioner
was directed to be Viewed and Reported for a part of Mr Fowkes Gift &

But before he reced the said Gift he went into his Majesty's Service &
faithfully Served the Publick during most part of the last were
That the Petitioner was set up in the Trade of an Orice weaver
which
he now follows when his Duty as one of the Beadles in this Hospital
allows him Time for that purpose But the Petitioner standing
in need of Some Assistance to Support him in his Industry
Prayed that in regard the Charitable Gifts of this Hospital have
been Extended to Mr Perputer (after he was Elected Artsmasters
) and to
Mr Morgan (after he was Elected Porters Man) this Court would
bestow on him a Part of Mr Fowkes Gift It is Ordered that the
Clerk do pay the said
