2d. March Instant, they had made an Inquiry and found That
Willm How who Served his Apprentiship
in this Hospital to

Man It is Ordered that the Steward do pay the said
Willm. How Ten Pounds out of Mr. Locks Gift to be allowed him

Gentleman Permit me with all due Submission to acknowledge
the Justice of the Sentence passed upon me for Misdomeanours, as
well as the deep Sense I shall ever retain of the Offence given to
my generous Benefactors at the same time deign with your
wonted Goodness to regard my deplorabel State now banished
your Protection & Hospitable Roof, an Orphan Friendless and
destitute, beneft of all comfortable Views in Life, & abandoned to
Misery & want, unless in Tender Compassion you Kindly reinstate
me in any former happy Station: If I Should once more be
Replaced nothing shall be wanting either in Assiduity in my
Business, or Obedience in my behavior to convince you with
what Profound Respect Etc Esteem I am & ever shall remain
