figures following that is to sayAt this Committee the Petition
of Thomas Langley< no role > was Read (referred by the Court of the Seventh
of Augt last) Stating that the governors by Indenture of Lease
bearing date the wth. day of July 1754 demised to a Catherine Booth< no role > &
Francis Nelson< no role > the Executrixes of Thos. Booth< no role > deceased a Messuage or
Tenemt. situate at the Corner of Hand Court in High Holborn in the
County of Middlesex To Hold from Midsr. then last for 16 Years
(4 years whereof were Unexpired at Midsr. 1765) at the Rent of £10
clear of TaxesThat the said Messuage was afterwards Assigned
to the Petitioner & he is now and for upwards of 20 Years last past
has been in Possession thereofThat the said Messuage is now
& ever since the Petitioner had the Possession thereof been kept in
Tenantable Repair, but the same having been built a great Number
of Years the Petitioner is Advised that without a thorough Repair
in the Foundation & other Material parts thereof the same will not
probability stand long or be fit for OccupationThat the Petitioner
is desirous that the said Messuage may be Surveyed that the Expences
