Continued Thursday 4th Augt 1763 being Election Day

Your Petitioner therefore prays your Worships will be pleased to Grant
a further Term of Ten Years upon paying a Fine of Twenty Guineas being the
Same favour as hath been Granted to his late Neighbours Messrs. Thornton
and Handley and your Petitioner further prays that the lease may be made
to John Morse< no role > Esqr of London Merchant for the Remainder of the Term Already
Granted to your Petitioner or for such other Term as your Worships shall think
fit to grant for whose faithfull Performance of the Covenants therein
contained the Right Honourable William Beckford< no role > Esqr . Lord Mayor of
London will be Answerable Your Petitioner Hereby Agreeing to pay your
Worships the said Fine and such Arrears of Rent as are now due from your
Petitioner It is Ordered that upon the Said Thos. Walpole< no role > s paying
a fine of Thirty Guineas and the Arrears of Rent due for the said
Messuage or Tenement and Premisses a Lease of the said Piece or
Parcell of Ground Messuage or Tenement and Premisses containing
all usual Covenants be granted to the said John Morse< no role > for the Term
of 72 Years to commence and be computed from Lady day 1751
at and under the Yearly Rent of £7. clear of all Taxes and deductions
whatsoever and that Free liberty of Ingress Egress and Regress be
Also Granted by the aforesaid Leave in by and thro. the Passage
Mentioned in the said Petition for the said Term According to the
Conditions prescribed in the said Order of the 25th. of May 1753
at and under the Rent of 2s. P Annum upon the said Jno. Morse< no role > 's

Ordered that the Comittee of this House Do from time
to time Insure such parts of the Hospital Estates as the Leases
fall in

Mr. Charles Hoyle< no role > and Mr. Joseph Cooke< no role > Two of the governors reported
that in Pursuance of an Order of Court of the 11th. May last they had
Made Enquiry and found that Richard Bowler< no role > who Served his Apprentiship in
this Hospital to Francis Croxford< no role > is Set up for himself in his said Trade
and has the Character of a Diligent and Sober Man It is Ordered that
the Clerk Do pay the said Richard Bowler< no role > Ten Pounds out of Mr.
Fowker Gift
