Upon Reading the Humble Petition of Francis Grove< no role > weaver Setting for the
that he served his Apprentiship in this Hospital to Joseph Ketteridge< no role > byIndetre
Dated 11 May 1749 and by Order of Court of the 23d. of July 1756 he was made fee of this
City the 16 of March 1762 and is Set up for himself in his said Trade in Moor Fields And
Praying some part of Mr Locks Gift It is Ordered that Mr. Saml. Read< no role > Mr. George
Verney
< no role > and Mr. Samuel Bates< no role > or any Two of them be desired to Enquire if the said Fras.
Grove be Set up for himself and of his hopefulness therein And Report to the Court

Upon Reading the Humble Petition of Joseph Tristram Glover Setting forth that
he Served his Apprentiship in this Hospital Samuel Geldart< no role > late one of the Artsmasters
by Indenture dated 11 Augt. 1749 and by Order of Court 9 Decr. 1756 was made fee of this
City the 12 Janry. 1757 and is set up for himself in his said Trade in Exeter Change in the
Strand And Praying Some part of Mr. Lock's Gift It is Ordered that Mr. Fras. Wilson< no role >
Henry Kynaston Southouse< no role > Esqr . and Mr Chas. Vere< no role > or any Two of them be desired
to Enquire if the sd. Joseph Tristram< no role > be set up for himself in his said Trade and of his
hopefulness therein and Report to the Court

At this Court Richard Morrall< no role > was Order'd to be made free of this City who Served
his Apprentiship in this Hospital to William Cox< no role > by Indre Dated 27 July 1756

Gratuitys to Beadles and
Porter Man 40s each


Upon Reading the Humble Petition of the four Beadles and Porters Man of this
Hospital for their Usual Gratuities of forty Shillings a piece for the half Year to
Midsumer last for their Salarys are but small It is Ordered that the Clerk of these
Hospitals Do give and Pay unto them forty Shillings a piece to be Allowed him in
his Next Account

Gratuitys to Basketmen
20s each


Upon Reading the Humble Petition of the Three Beadles of Bethlem for
their Usual Gratuitys of Twenty Shillings a piece for the half Year to Midsumer
last for their Salaries are but small It is Ordered that the Clerk of these Hospitals
Do give and pay unto them Twenty Shillings a piece to be Allowed him in his next
Account
