Upon Reading the Humble Petition of Thomas Walpole< no role > Esqr .
in the Words and Figures following Vizt. The Humble Petition of the
Honble Thomas Walpole< no role > Esqr . Sheweth That by an Order of a General
Court held at Bridewell Hospital the 19th. of Decr. 1750 Reciting a former
Order made by the said Courton 1st. of Novr. Then part It was Ordered
that a Leave should be made or Granted to Robert Hardcastle< no role > of Jno
Ground (formerly in Lease to Isabella Finch< no role > ) Abutting North
upon Bethlem Street from 6 feet Westward beyond the Braziers Shop (held among other
things by Dr. Bosanquet Assignee of Sir Joseph Eyles< no role > ) to the East Side of an Old Passage
of Eight feet wide containing in front last and west 128 feet little more or less and
in Depth from Six Feet northward clear from the Windows of the House in the
Occupation of Dr. Bosanquet or his under tenants to the Strait Line Intended to
be made the front to Bethlem Street (Setting Back 12 feet from the Front of the Braziers Shop at the East End and Six Feet from the Old Building
which was at the west end of the said Ground Adjoining to the said Old Passage
which would leave the said Ground Intended to be Demised in Depth from North is
South at the East End thereof 76 Feet to a Break of 20 Feet Westward and from there
39 feet in all 115 Feet or thereabouts and at the west End 114 Feet or thereabouts and
to lay out within Two Years £2000 in new Building not less the 7 Houses
According to the Second Rate of Building To Hold from Lady Day the next
for 62 Years at apepper [..] Rent for the first Two Years & 23 clear of all S [..]
for the Residue of the said Term
