Council.


Convenient and be official to this Hospital An the Comittee having taken
the Matter into Consideration are of Opinion It is Proper Application should
be made To the Rt. Honble The Lord Mayor The Court of Aldermen and Comon
Councel of the said City In Comon Council Assembled for a Grant or Demise of the
said Piece of Ground upon Such Terms or Conditions as they shall be pleased
to Direct or Approve It is Ordered that this Master be reported to the Next
Court And that a Plan of the said Ground be made by the Surveyor & Annexed

Mr. Wm. Kinteside< no role > and Mr. Robt. Gamon< no role > as fellows Vizt This Comitee
finding Two Vacancys of Artmasters in the Room of Mr. Samuel Geldard< no role > ,
Glover who Resigned upon the 17th. December last and of Mr William Keil< no role > ,
Esquire Beaver who Resigned on the 3d. Day of February last Caused an,
Advertizement to be published Several Times in the Dailey Advertizer and
Gazetteer from the 11th. to the 20th. March instant both Days Inclusive
As follows Vizt. Bridewell Hospital Notice is hereby Given that the
Appartments of Two Artsmasters in this Hospital and Vacants And that
any weavers of Good Character who are Inclined to filling the Vacancy
May Give in their Names at the Clerks Office (where they will Receive
further Information any Morning before the 25th. Day of March Instant)
and that soon after these with bean Election And According Several
weaver s less their Names And Notice being Given to them that the
Comittee would accot this Day to Consider of the Several Application
that had been made The following Persons Attended and brought samples
of their Work Vizt. George Doth< no role > of Ailesbury Street Clerkenwell Orrice weaver
Joshua Crickett< no role > of Saint Leonard Shew Ditch Engine weaver Francis
Poynter
< no role > of Saint Lukes Old Street Orrice weaver Posthument Bishop< no role > of
Bethnal Green Bread weaver They all Presessed themselves to be
of the Church of England as by Land Established And the Comittee upon
the Best Inquiry they Could Make have no reason to Object to the Characters
or any of them or their Stole in their Request two Trades and the Comittees
think it proper take Notice that there is now but one Engine weaver in this Hospital
