At this Court the several humble petitions of Robert Hadwen< no role > and Daniel How< no role >
were read setting forthThat they are witting to take such a number of Approach
as the Court Shall think fit and to keep their Appartment in repair with Glazing
Plaistering and Whiteing at their own expence as is usually done by the Artsmasters
to Artsmasters and praying to be Elected an Artsmasters in the own of Mr. John
Ward

cast up the Numbers appeared to be as follows Vizt.

Whereupon the Right HonbleRobert Willimott< no role > Esqr . Aldn Lord Mayer Elect. President declared
the said Robert Hadwen< no role > duly Elected And it is Ordered that the said Robert Hadwen< no role >
upon delivering a Certificate of his Settlement to the Clerk and producing a Copy
of his freedom of this City) be admitted an Artsmaster of this Hospital untill the
next Election day upon giving Security as is usual in the like Case and that the
Journeymen which he shall employ in his Trade shall be such as have served the
Apprenticeships in this HospitalAnd it is further Ordered that he have
such Appartment as the Comittee of this House Shall think fit.

Governors gave their Ballets which being cast up the Numbers appeared to be

The Order of this Court the 27th. of Novr. 1741. being read (whereby is Ordered
that for the future when a Ballot begins the Door be lakt & the Keys laid upon the
Table till the Ballet be ever & that this be inserted in the Tickets instead of
what was formerly directed)And thereupon the Question being put That the said
Order be repealett It passed in the Affirmative.
