Trear to send him abroad}


This Court being acquainted that Charles Grove< no role > (Apprentice to Thomas
Reay
< no role > one of the Artsmaster of this Hospital ) who has been for some time
at the Hempblocks for neglecting his Masters business and being very
disorderly in the family, is very careless and unconcerned at his Confirmed
and not likely tobe reclaimed if he stays in England and his father
desiring he may be sent to North Carolina where he has a near Relation
in very geat Circumstances This Court doth desire Mr. President & Mr.
Treasurer to send the said Charles Grove< no role > to Carolina or some other part
of America at the request of his Father and by his own consent And
such Charges as the President & Treasurer shall think necessary for that
purpose are to be paid by the Steward of this Hospital and to be allow'd
him in his Account.

Women Prisoners & Children
Comee to consider of it}


Ordered that it be referred to the Comittee of this House to consider what
is proper to be done in the Case where Women Prisoner are Committed
to this Hospital and being young Children within and to report this
Opinion thereon to the Court.

Upon reading a Letter dated this day from Mr. John Ward< no role > . Tailer
one of the Artsmaster of this Hospital settingforthThat he humbly
returned the Governors thanks for the many favors he had received
since his being admitted an ArtsmasterThat he has been & is now
in so bad a State of health that he is oblidged to leave off business
[..] into the County for the benefit of the Air & therefore begged
leave to surrender his place of Artsmaster and that he may be at
liberty to quit his Appartment about Christmas nextIt is Ordered
that the said resignation be accepted.

Portermanthe Presidt. and
Trlar to appoint a person to
officers into the Election day}


Ordered that the Election of a Portersman of this Hospital in the room of
John Elliot< no role > discharged from the said office be postponed untill the next
General Election And that it be referred to Mr President & Mr. Treasurer
to appoint a person to officiate in the said office of Porterman in the [..]

The Petitions of the Candidates for the place of Surgeon to then Hospitals
in the room of John Wheeler< no role > deceased being read in Alphabetical Order
Vizt. Henry Westworth< no role > and Charles Wheeler< no role > The Governors gave their
Ballots which being cost up the Numbers Appeared to be as follows Vizt.

For Henry Westworth< no role > 34.
Charles Wheeler< no role > 109.

Whereupon The Right Worshipfull the President declared the said
Charles Wheeler< no role > to be duly Elected Surgeon to these Hosptialls untill
the next Election day And it is Ordered that he have the same Salary
& Allowance as were given to the late Surgeon.
