Ambrose Wilson< no role > and Dr. Henchman as Governors of these Hospitals.

This Court being acquainted that Mrs. Elizabeth Wheeler< no role > late of the Parish of
St. Andrew Holborn London by her Will bearing date on or about ye. 21st. day of March 1727
Did (Inter alia)Give unto Bethlem Hospital in London the Sum of two thousand
pounds for the benefit and releif of poor Lunatick and distracted people thereinand
of her said Will appoint Mrs. Hannah Wheeler< no role > Bowster Vernon< no role > Esquire and Mr. Edward
Gilburne< no role > Executors which said Will was duely provd in the Prerogetive Court of the Arch Bishop
of Canterbury ye. 3d. day of Febry. 1728 by the said Mrs. Hannah Wheeler< no role > It is
Ordered That the said Executors be desired to pay the said Legacy of £2000.
to Mr. Alderman Alsop Treasurer of these Hospitals whose receipt shall be a sufficient
discharge for the same.

At this Court the following poor Boys were Ordered to be put out
Apprentices at the nomination of the Governors hereafter named Vizt.

in pursuance of an Order of Court of ye. 20th. of March last He and Mr. Robt. Hall< no role >
another of the Governors had made Enquiry and found That Thomas Large< no role > who servd his
Apprenticeship in this Hospital is set up for himself in the Trade of a Weaver and hath the
character of a diligent and sober Man It is Ordered that the Steward of this
Hospital do give and pay unto the said Thomas Large< no role > Ten pounds out of Mr. Locks
Gift to be allowd him in his next Account.

two of the Governors of these Hospitals settingforth That in pursuance of an Order of
Court of the 20th. of March last They had made Inquiry and found That Samuel
Jackson< no role > who servd his Apprenticeship in this Hospital is set up for himself in the Trade
of a Weaver and hath the Character of a diligent and sober Man It is Ordered
that the Steward of this Hospital do give and pay unto the said Samuel Jackson< no role >
Ten Pounds out of Mr. Locks Gift to be allowd him in his next Account.
