Ordered That Mr. Oliver Acton< no role > the Steward of this Hospital do
wait on the Right Honourable Sr. Richard Brocas< no role > Knight Lord Mayor
& the Right Worshipfull Sr. William Billers< no role > and desire of them to direct
their Clerks to write upon the Warrants of Comittment the place of the
Prosecutors abode.

Trear's Report}


Mr. Treasurer Reported to this Court That in pursuance of an Order
of Court of the 24th. of April last The Comittee of this Hospital had examined
into the matter of the Ryot Comitted by several of the Apprentices of this
Hospital in St. Pauls Church Yard on Sunday night the 19th. day of April last
and that the Persons who had complaind against them were present and forgave
them and desird the Comittee to do the same.

Upon reading a Report from the Comittee of this House under the hands of
the Right Worshipfull Robert Alsop< no role > Esqr . Aldn . & Trear , Dr. Richard Rawlinson< no role >
Mr. Deputy Brewis & Mr. Thomas Richardson< no role > bearing date the 19th. day of June
last in the words followingVizt. In Pursuance of an Order of Court of the
20th. of March last This Comittee considerd the Petition and Proposal of Mr.
John Paukeman< no role > praying to have a Lease of the Magpye Alehouse and the two
adjoining Houses in Bishopsgate Street comprizd in the Lease (No.20) for 21 years
from Midsumer next at £70. P Ann the premisses being put into tenantable repair
And several of the Gentleman of this Comittee having on Monday last viewed
the premisses were of opinion that the same should be let for 21 YearsWhereupon,
Mr. Ralph Thrale< no role > (on whose behalf the Petition of the said Paukeman was
Preferred to the Court) offerd to give £70 P Ann for a Lease of the said premes
for 21 Years from Midsumer next if the Governours would repair 'em or if they
would allow £100. towards repairs then he would give £60 P AnnAnd
Mr. Arden Bonell< no role > offerd to take a Lease of the said premisses for 21 Years
from Midsumer next at a Pepper Corn Rent for the first two Years of the
Term and the old rent of £70. during the residue thereof and to put ye premes
in repair which will cost above £200and the said Mr. Thraile and
Mr. Bonell being seperately called in agen the said Mr. Bonell offerd to pay
£70 P Ann Rent clear of Taxes for 21 years and to take the premisses as
they now are and put them into repairand the said Mr. Thrale proposd to give
£70 P Ann Rent clear of all Taxes and to layout £200. in repairsThis
Comittee having considerd the same are of opinion to accept the last mentioned
proposal of the said Mr. Thraile whereupon he gave a Guinea to the Poors Box
All which nevertheless is submitted to the Judgment of the Court And it is ordered
that this Opinion be reported to the next CourtThis Court doth Confirm the
said Report and Order that a Lease be made to the said Mr. Thrale accordingly.
