Upon reading a Report from the Comee of the house dated
the 26th day of January Last Setting forth That in persuance
of an order of Court of the 17th day of Novemr. Last This Comee
haveing Considered of the several Gentlemen following who were
nominated to be Governor
of these hospitals It is the Opinion
of this Comee that they are proper persons to be Governor

of the house in the precinct late in the occupation of Cordwell part of the possess [..]
of the hospital of Bridewell
for the Term of 21 years to Comence from Lady,
now next ensueing at the yearly Rent of £14 payable Quarterly for the first
19 years & a half of the sd Term of 21 years & a pepper Can Rent for the Remr.
of the sd Term wth such usual Covenants as are contain'd in the Leases from
the Governor
s of ye sd hospital to their Tenants and to do the repaire menconed
a proper uses given in & signd by him and the Governor
s of them Charge to gla [..]
the windows & make good the foundation & the Roof of the sd house where reading
The Comee are of Opinion to accept of the sd proposal Whereupon the said
Mr Smith gave five Shillings to the poors Box all which is wortheless
submitted to [..] of the CourtThis Court haveing duely weighed & considered
the said Report doth Confirm of the same and Order that a Lease be made to him accordingly
